Nutcracker 2017

Metropolitan Dance Alliance is thrilled to once again present the Nutcracker ballet in December 2017. All MDA students will have the opportunity perform in our winter ballet production.  Performances are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at Shakopee Junior High West.

“My favorite costume was Clara’s nightgown, and my favorite dance was the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. I was nervous to dance, but I just imagined myself getting the best applause and award while I was dancing.  I think the cutest dance was Mother Ginger, especially when they shake their tushes .” ~Sydney Diercks (age 8) cast as a 2016 mouse
