At this age, children thrive on repetition, imagination, and clear structure. All classes focus on motor skills, musicality, and following directions through play.

Our goal is to help young dancers feel comfortable in the studio, make new friends, and discover the love of dance while developing listening skills, rhythm, and body awareness. Dancers learn basic steps such as skipping, jumping, twirling, and simple ballet positions while building coordination, balance, and confidence. Each class will have a fun theme, imaginative movement, beginner dance skills, and creative games that keep students engaged and excited to learn.

This fun and engaging summer dance class is designed for beginner students ages 5–7 who are excited to explore movement, music, and creativity in a supportive environment. Dancers will be introduced to dance fundamentals while building coordination, rhythm, balance, and confidence. Each week the class will explore a different theme through creative activities, and simple choreography that helps students learn new skills while having fun. Once again, let's Level-Up this summer! This is your chance to train with Cathy Christenson in a focused camp emphasizing Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), turn technique, and strength development. This camp will help dancers improve alignment, strengthen core stability and balance, and improve their overall body awareness. Students will work on proper placement, spotting, pirouettes, rotations, and controlled transitions while developing the muscle strength and endurance needed for clean, confident movement. Each day includes conditioning, PBT exercises, turn drills, center work, and targeted strength training in a supportive and motivating environment. Dancers will gain tools they can take back into their other classes to improve technique, prevent injury, and build confidence in their movement. This camp is ideal for dedicated dancers who want to refine their skills, grow stronger, and prepare for the upcoming dance season with focused technical training.

Step into summer with rhythm and confidence at our Tap Technique Intensive Camp! This focused training experience is designed for team students who want to strengthen their tap fundamentals, improve clarity of sound, and build speed, control, and musicality. Dancers will work on essential tap technique including clean footwork, timing, articulation, weight shifts, and coordination while developing stronger rhythms and more confident performance skills. Classes will focus on drills, across-the-floor progressions, rhythm exercises, combinations, and musicality training to help students produce clear, precise tap sounds and execute more complex patterns with ease. This camp is ideal for dancers who want to refine their skills, build confidence, and prepare for the upcoming dance season with focused technical training.

Keep your dancer strong and growing all summer long! Technique Lab is designed for dancers ages 5–7 who want to build a solid technical foundation in a fun, encouraging, and structured environment. In this class, dancers will focus on core fundamentals such as body control, balance, flexibility, coordination, turns, jumps, and proper dance technique. Through engaging exercises, across-the-floor progressions, and skill-building drills, students will strengthen their basics while improving confidence and performance quality. Classes are upbeat, age-appropriate, and focused on positive growth and skill development.

Attend the pre-audition camp to prepare for team auditions. Team auditions are scheduled for June 22 - 25 from 3:00 - 9:00 PM.
