2026/2027 Recreational Classes
Our recreational classes begin August 31 and continue through the spring recital in May.
Choose from classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, or lyrical. Many of our dance classes include multiple dance styles!

2026/2027 Performance Line Classes
Our performance line dance classes begin August 31 and continue through the spring recital in May.
Our performance line dancers get exposure to multiple dance styles and attend a regional dance competition.
PRESCHOOL - KINDERGARTEN
Perform one dance at a regional competition.
Starbursts: Jazz, Tap, Ballet | Ages 4-5 | Monday 5:00 - 6:00 PM
1ST GRADE - 6TH GRADE
Perform two dances at a regional competition.
Gems: Jazz, Tap | Age 6 | Thursday 5:00 - 6:30 PM
Sparkles: Jazz, Tap, Ballet | Ages 7-10 | Monday 5:15 - 7:30 PM
Dazzlers: Jazz, Tap, Ballet | Ages 11-12 | Monday 5:45 - 8:15 PM
7TH GRADE AND UP
Perform three dances at a regional competition.
Novas: Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Technique | Ages 13 & up | Monday 6:00 - 8:30 PM
2026/2027 Session Dance Classes
Metropolitan Dance Alliance offers several shorter sessions of dance classes throughout the dance year. We understand that parents need flexibility! Our session classes are perfect for dancers trying a class for the first time or students who participate in multiple activities throughout the year. More session classes will be released soon!

Tiny Tots: Creative Movement | Ages 18 months - 2 | Saturday 10:45 - 11:15 AM
POP-UP CLASS
Santa's Coming to Town! | Open to Kids Under 8 | Saturday, December 5th 10:30 AM -12:00 PM
During this special pop-up class kids will play games, do crafts, enjoy snacks, and learn a holiday themed dance. Santa will be stopping by! The perfect opportunity to kick off the holiday season and make memories at the studio.

Learn About Our Programs
We have dancers who spend every weeknight at the studio and dancers who happily pop in for one class a week. Our caring team is dedicated to supporting dancers at ALL stages of their dance journey! We offer a wide range of commitment options to meet the needs of our families.

RECREATIONAL CLASSSES
Our recreational dance classes are for dancers ages 3 - 8th grade. These classes are divided by age so that kids can learn alongside their peers.
Our students make friends, learn new skills, and grow more confident each week!
Performance Line Classes
Our performance line dance classes offer students ages 4 - 8th grade an opportunity to be a part of a team! These dancers get exposure to multiple dance styles and attend one regional dance competition. Our performance line is a great option for multi-passionate kids who participate in activities outside of dance.
Session Classes
We offer several 6-8 week sessions throughout the dance year. Our session classes allow children the opportunity to jump into a dance class year-round! MDA parents love the option of a shorter commitment while giving their child exposure to formal dance training. You will be SO impressed with what your child learns in a short amount of time!
Competition Teams
Our competition teams offer passionate dancers more time on stage and in the studio! In addition to our annual shows, these dancers compete at both a regional and national level.
