Early Childhood: 18 months - 5 years old

  • These are introductory classes for our youngest dancers. Session classes allow our youngest dancers an opportunity to explore dance through creative movement, basic ballet movements, and class structure.

    Dancers in our Spring Session have the option to participate in our Spring Recital.

  • These are fun and interactive weekly classes where dancers continue to learn dance basics. These classes enhance memory, listening, and sequencing skills. Students improve balance and coordination as they express themselves physically. Lively music and interactive activities keep dancers engaged as they move towards mastery of fundamental skills.

Youth: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

  • These classes are age and pace-appropriate, working on skills in ballet, tap, and jazz. Rhythm, tempo, and musicality are emphasized, along with combinations and dance patterns that are level and age-appropriate. Stretching and strength skills are practiced along with work in kicks, jumps, and turns as a part of the core curriculum. These classes challenge a dancer in a fun, healthy, structured learning environment.

    2023-2024 Class Options

  • Our performance line classes build on the curriculum from our recreational classes with increased class time. The increased class time allows instructors to spend additional time introducing and refining age-appropriate skills. Students are trained in technique at the barre and center floor and have an increased opportunity to practice across-the-floor skills. Combinations with more complex rhythms and weight transitions are presented and practiced while encouraging artistic exploration.    

    Performance Lines perform in our Winter Holiday Show and Annual Spring Recital, plus one competition at the recreational level. No audition is required.

    2023-2024 Class Options

  • Competition dance is a training tool for young dancers with numerous performance opportunities. These classes are for dancers who LOVE TO DANCE and want to commit more to dance. Through competition, dancers are made aware of details of their performance that could use additional work or training. This input is invaluable for the more serious dancer and often reinforces what they learn from their dance instructors.

    Competition Teams dancers perform in our annual Holiday Show, Spring Recital, and several regional competitions and nationals. Auditions are required.

Teen: 6th Grade and Up

  • This faster-paced class provides dancers with the technical training necessary to push them as a dancer in an energetic, fun, and supportive environment. Classes continue to build on the foundations of tap, ballet, and jazz while allowing dancers to explore dance's artistry. There is an emphasis on musicality and presentation. Dancers are pushed in the areas of strength, coordination, and flexibility.

    2023-2024 Class Options

  • These classes are great for kids who love dance and want additional performance opportunities. It is also an excellent fit for school dance team dancers and students in other activities. Students expand on tap, ballet, jazz, and lyrical foundations, working towards mastery of more advanced skills. These dancers continue adding new terms to their dance vocabulary and see an increased emphasis on the concepts of power, improvisation, and understanding of controlled stylistic movement. Weight transfers, posture, body alignment, and other key concepts and skills are discussed and practiced. Our performance lines are great for teenagers that love to dance in a safe, encouraging environment with a more limited time commitment.  

    Performance Lines perform in our Winter Holiday Show and Annual Spring Recital, plus three dances at two competitions at the recreational level. No audition is required.

  • These classes are for dancers who LOVE TO DANCE and want to commit more to dance. Competition dance is a training tool for young dancers with numerous performance opportunities.
